Recently, I stumbled across a blog post by The Jealous Curator that totally had me inspired and wanting to see more- the work of Aganetha Dyck. According to her website biography, “Aganetha Dyck is a Canadian artist who is interested in environmental issues, specifically the power of the small. She is interested in inter species communication. Her research asks questions about the ramifications all living beings would experience should honeybees disappear from earth”. She uses broken, second-hand items in her work since bees are “natural menders”. How inspiring is her philosophy and work?
